What data we process

Contact details you give us (name, company, email, phone), the content of your message and, in a business relationship, contract and invoicing data. For devices we buy, we record the IMEI or serial number, model and batch.

Purposes and legal bases

Handling your request and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), performing contracts (b), legal retention obligations (c) and our legitimate interest in efficient business operations (f).

Data on devices we buy

We do not view or store personal data on devices. All devices are erased with certified software, and an erasure certificate is created per device.

Retention

Requests without a deal are deleted after two years at the latest. Business and accounting records are kept for six or ten years in line with German commercial and tax law.

Recipients

We only share data with service providers who support us (e.g. hosting, email, shipping) under data processing agreements. We never sell data.

Hosting and third countries

The website is hosted by an external provider. Where data is processed outside the EEA, this only happens with appropriate safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

Images

Photos on this website are loaded from the Unsplash image service (images.unsplash.com), which transmits your IP address to Unsplash. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and fonts

We use no tracking or advertising cookies. Your language choice may be stored locally in your browser. Fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Please use our contact form.

Right to complain

You can complain to a supervisory authority, for example the North Rhine-Westphalia Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (LDI NRW).

Changes

We update this policy when our processes or the law change.
